On My Way to Becoming a Cat Lady...

When we got our cat Sam my family was less than thrilled. They started teasing me that I was going to become a cat lady and I said I wouldn't. Now, I won't ever get multiple cats but yesterday at church I realized how excited I get about Sam. Brandon and I were doing nursery and I was reading one of the kids Green Eggs and Ham. I read the first page: "I am Sam" and immediately I felt the need to tell this 18-month old that Sam is my cat's name.

I felt pretty stupid after, but I wanted to post it so at least there is some entertaining news on here. :)

Some Bad News

So I already told my parents about this, but since I don't feel like calling everyone about this and since anyone who reads this blog I want to know about this I figured I would just do a short post. Because of a low grade I got in an English class I have been dropped out of the student teaching program. I was told last Thursday there was a problem, but I thought I had worked it out. Long story short, I didn't have it worked out and I have been dropped. I am going to do some substitute teaching this semester and in the fall I will do my student teaching.
