Okay here is a post with actual pictures! I am not posting any wedding pictures yet because the only ones we "have" are on the photographers Web site. If you haven't seen those click here and here. When I get the disc which will be sometime in June I will post more of them.
As far as the wedding day went it was wonderful! The only time I was stressed or worried was driving to the temple because I was running behind and when we were in the Celestial Room I almost passed out because I hadn't really eaten that morning. Luckily, I wasn't the first bride to do this so they had some saltines and water I could have. That was why the sealing started a bit later. Sorry for those who came to that! I just think it would've been embarrassing if I passed out during the ceremony.
With the wedding though I am really happy we did a dinner instead of a reception. Brandon and I were relaxed the whole time and we got to eat. So, win win. I think we also did a good job at saying hello to everyone there and if we didn't I apologize.
We spent the night in Provo and then the next night in Cedar City. On Monday morning we started our road trip to California for our Honeymoon! On our way there we stopped at a Tommy's because Brandon had never been before:
He loved it.
We eventually got to Long Beach, checked in, and boarded the boat. This is a picture of our boat and our room. The picture of the boat was taken a couple of days later because it was when I could get a good shot of it:
I didn't really get a lot of pictures of the boat, but one thing I did take a picture of was this jeweled egg. They were all over the boat and I am not sure why they picked this to decorate:
It was a very relaxing cruise. We would lie out, watch movies, go on shore, golf, walk around the ship, and EAT! There was a lot of amazing food served on the boat; however the best food was the food served at night at dinner. For all other meals you could either do room service or go to the buffet. At night though you had a certain dinnertime and it was like going to a restaurant. They would have waiters and an amazing variety of food! You would also have tablemates. The people we ate with were a family from northern California and they were very nice. This is Brandon and me at dinner as well as our tablemates:
Now, with the dinner there were always three courses and there would be some items that were always on the menu and then new items every night. One of the items on the dessert menu was the warm chocolate melting cake. Hands down best dessert I have ever had. I had to take a picture of it so here you go:
Another aspect on the ship was every night when we got back from dinner housekeeping would have come and gone for the second time (they would clean morning and night) and every night they would have a new towel animal, well except the last night it was a heart. I thought they were really cool looking so here they are:
With the cruise there were two destinations: Catalina and Ensenada. We would only go on shore for an hour or two because the boat was usually pretty empty most of the days so it was a lot more relaxing to lie out on those days. Out of the two destinations I liked Catalina the best. We couldn't dock there so we had to take a boat out to the island:
When we got there we decided to rent a couple of bikes just to explore the island. I wore a skirt that day which wasn't the smartest thing for me to do but I did adjust so it wouldn't fly up as I rode:
One of the last things we did was get a snack. I got a frozen banana and Brandon got a corn dog. Brandon decided we needed to take a picture with me and my banana:
I didn't feel the need to take a picture of his corn dog.
One of the souvenirs we got there was a chessboard for Brandon. I think it is really cool looking and I am learning how to play and I actually like it more than I thought I would:
This last picture is my favorite picture of us on our honeymoon. We were just outside watching the sunset and someone offered to take a picture of us:
After the honeymoon and the open house we finally had time to finish putting our apartment together. So in no particular order here is our apartment!
I love your pictures! Those were the type of cupboards which I wanted in the early '80s. It looks like your apartment is roomy. I'm working away at the quilt.
